The sandwich stealer has struck again! Not only is this repeat offender not showing any signs of remorse, but instead appears completely unbothered by his sandwich-related crime spree.

This month, sandwich stealer and repeat offender, Officer Ice of the Wyandotte Police Department was finally caught, to the shock and betrayal of his colleagues. After stealing lunch from one of his fellow officers, Ice was apprehended by none other than Officer Barwig and given a mugshot that was soon posted on the police department’s Facebook page.

We Love Trump reports, Ice, a police K-9 at the Wyandotte Police Department, was recently investigated for stealing lunch from one of the officers.

On Facebook, the Wyandotte Police Department would post a mugshot of Ice. Stating “Stealing is not only a crime but it is morally wrong too. Some jobs, like that of being a police officer, require you to take an oath prior to starting.  Within the officer’s sworn oath is the promise to protect person’s property. That being said, it saddens me to report that a current officer of the Wyandotte Police Department is under investigation for stealing!  “

Watch.

The internet went ablaze after the mugshot was posted and the facebook post also went viral with over 25k reactions, and 13k shares.

that virality led many news outlets to pick up the story Katu News wrote on twitter “Officers reported that K-9 Officer Ice has invoked his fifth amendment right to remain silent and did not cooperate with the investigation.”

Amy Kautfeldt Fox 35 posted on twitter also stating “GUILTY: Police in Michigan posted a mugshot of accused thief, K-9 Ice. An officer was eating in the break room when he was called to the jail, leaving his meal behind. When he returned, Ice was walking out of the room licking his chops. “

The police department offered some comments on the investigation.

Fox News reports, since Ice’s story spread across social media, he has gained quite a following.

Chief Brian Zalewski of the WPD told Fox News Digital that the Facebook post received a great response. “There was an immediate defense of Ice and calls for the department charges to be dismissed.”

Chief Brian Zalewski further commented on the investigation stating “Although Ice is getting a little gray in the beard and not on everyday patrol, he is still very much a part of our department.”

Many Facebook users came forward saying they would defend the pup “pro-bone-o.”

Another attorney commented on the post stating “I’ll be this officer’s attorney pro bono if need be. If the teeth don’t fit you must acquit.”

The WPD police department issued a final statement on the continued investigation into the sandwich thief stating “ We have been threatened with massive protests if we move forward with the investigation and/or charges against officer ICE, Plus the overall public just doesn’t believe he is guilty. No video has been produced, That being said Ofc Ice will not face any internal discipline or criminal charges.”

They finished by stating “The public has spoken. #nochargesforIce.”

Police officers took an oath to protect person’s property, and are rightly shocked when that protection is betrayed by one of their own. But this time, the criminal in question wasn’t exactly a person — it was Ice, a police K-9 from the Wyandotte Police Department. Recently, Ice was caught stealing lunch from one of the officers at the department. The sandwich stealer was so notorious his mugshot was posted on Facebook by the department with commentary describing the crime committed. Despite some joking comments from people jump starting potential defense arguments for Ice, it goes without saying that this is a serious sandwich thief and repeat offender that needs to be brought to justice! Maybe a bath is in order. But given the lack of evidence, and public support for Officer Ice,it seems that some belly rubs will do, instead.
