Washington Times reports. According to a new marketing report, hosting a Super Bowl party will cost more this year due to inflation’s impact on grocery prices.

In an analysis of Amazon consumer demand, market researcher Pattern found that prices for 11 popular snacks and five disposable tableware items are up from the fourth quarter of last year.
This includes mozzarella sticks, which increased by 27% from December to January. In addition, cracker prices increased by 69 cents, or 17%.
Paper plates soared 15%, or $1.07, from last year to this year, the most of any tableware item.
This isn’t the first holiday in recent years to be affected by inflation. An analysis by the American Farm Bureau Association found that Thanksgiving dinner costs rose 20% between 2021 and 2022, while Fourth of July cookout costs rose 17%.
According to Biden, the United States has experienced a decline in annualized headline inflation for “six months” due to his economic policies. Despite the recent slowdown in price level increases driven by lower energy costs, year-over-year inflation was charted at 6.5% in December 2022, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly quintupling the 1.4% rate seen in December 2020.
The inflation that has gone unchecked under the Biden administration is now threatening one of America’s most cherished pastimes—the Super Bowl party. From cereals and bakery goods to meats and poultry, inflation has skyrocketed over the last year, leaving football fans with skyrocketing food costs for their parties this weekend.
