MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski recently railed against House Republicans for using their power as majorities to investigate federal abuses and whether Hunter Biden’s business dealings had anything to do with President Joe Biden. The MSNBC was specifically discussing the House’s new Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
During the segment, Elise Jordan, an MSNBC political analyst, said Republicans aren’t interested in legislating, only airing their grievances.
According to Brzezinski, Republicans “literally close their eyes” to former President Donald Trump and the riots of January 6, while Biden is liked and not cruel.
Last week’s hearing of the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government raised questions about FBI abuses.
The hearing also saw Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley testify that whistleblower disclosures have suggested the FBI has evidence that President Biden is aware of his family business schemes.
Senator Grassley told House members during the hearing that whistleblower disclosures “make clear that the FBI has very significant, impactful, and voluminous evidence about Hunter and James Biden’s criminal conduct..”
The statement by Grassley directly contradicts claims previously made by Biden. The Biden campaign has claimed seven times that Joe Biden is not involved in the family business scheme.
For example, in 2019, Biden claimed, “I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
It is shameful that liberal “news” networks like MSNBC continue to run cover for President Biden and shield him from any serious investigation into his family business schemes and any other wrongdoings. Despite Senator Chuck Grassley confirming that whistleblower disclosures have suggested the FBI has evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement, MSNBC continued to preach that Biden is a good man who has done no wrong. This lack of transparency from news media sources like MSNBC reflects poorly on their journalistic integrity and undermines investigative journalism. House Republicans should be applauded for using their power as majorities to bring a level of transparency to such investigations, something that poses a challenge when media outlets continually run cover for political candidates.
