The media and those a part of the Democrat party have been on a relentless mission to discredit President Trump any way they can. However, a recent development may throw a wrench in their plans. A leaked letter from Michael Cohen’s lawyer has the potential to dismantle the witch hunt indictment against Trump, leaving the Manhattan DA and all of the anti-Trumpers absolutely blindsided and devastated.
Michael Cohen’s lawyer wrote in a letter from 2018 that Cohen “used his own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford,” otherwise known as Stormy Daniels.
The letter continued, “Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed Mr. Cohen for the payment directly or indirectly.”
The letter added, “Contrary to the allegations in the complaint, which are entirely speculative, neither Mr. Cohen nor Essential Consultants LLC made any in-kind contributions to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., or any other presidential campaign committee.”
Trump himself reacted to the letter, writing in a Truth Social post, “Wow, look what was just found—A Letter from Cohen’s Lawyer to the Federal Election Commission. This is totally exculpatory, and must end the Manhattan District Attorney’s Witch Hunt, immediately. Cohen admits that he did it himself. The D.A. should get on with prosecuting violent criminals, so people can walk down the sidewalks of New York without being murdered!”
It appears that the letter paints a different picture than what the prosecutors had hoped for. The evidence presented in the letter not only exonerates Trump but proves his innocence beyond a shadow of a doubt. It’s time for the false accusations to stop. It’s time for the Democrats and their allies in the media to stop the baseless accusations and focus on the issues that matter to the American people. The truth must always prevail, and in this case, the truth appears to be on Trump’s side.
