It has been 2.5 years since Joe Biden took office, and the situation at the southern border is worse than ever.
Despite his promises to fix the immigration crisis, he has failed to deliver on his promises. Instead of providing a solution, he has only made things worse.
Breitbart reports, the number of illegal immigrants crossing the border is skyrocketing, and it shows no signs of slowing down. Mass illegal immigration has led to an 80 percent population growth in the United States. This has been catastrophic for our nation’s economy and security.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), legal immigration to the U.S. fueled nearly all population growth in 2022, when the resident population reached 333.3 million – the highest in American history.
CIS researchers Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler write: net international migration of 1.01 million accounted for roughly 80 percent of U.S. population growth in 2022,” US population growth is primarily driven by immigration. Over the last two decades, two-thirds to three-fourths of US population growth has come from immigrants plus births to immigrants.
About a million foreign nationals receive green cards each year. Newly naturalized citizens can sponsor an unlimited number of foreign relatives for resettlement in the United States through a process known as “chain migration.”
Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley plans to visit the southern border in Texas and unveiled a plan to tackle the migrant crisis. She said that building a wall on the southern border is essential for stopping illegal immigration and protecting our national security. Her plan also includes increasing resources for Border Patrol agents and providing more funding for detention centers.
Unfortunately, Joe Biden has refused to listen to reason and continues to push for open borders policies that will only make things worse. He has reversed many of President Trump’s policies that were designed to protect our borders, such as ending construction of the wall on the southern border and halting deportations of illegal immigrants.
A recent NPR poll found that a majority of Americans see an “invasion” at the southern border due to illegal immigration. It is clear that people are fed up with Joe Biden’s handling of this issue, yet he continues to ignore their concerns and push his own agenda instead.
According to a new NPR/Ipsos poll, more than half of Americans believe there is an invasion at the southern border.
The poll also found that large numbers of Americans hold a variety of beliefs about illegal immigrants — from their role in smuggling illegal drugs into the U.S., for example, and how likely they are to utilize public benefits.
The truth is that if we want to solve this crisis once and for all, we must build a wall on the southern border immediately. A wall will not only stop illegal immigration but also help protect our national security from criminals who seek to exploit our porous borders. We cannot afford any more delays or half-measures; it is time for Joe Biden to take action now before it is too late! Joe Biden promised during his campaign that he would fix America’s broken immigration system, but so far he has failed miserably in delivering on this promise. His open borders policies have only made things worse at our southern border, leading to an increase in illegal immigration and putting our national security at risk. The only way we can solve this crisis once and for all is by building a wall on the southern border immediately – anything else will be too little too late!
