Senator John Fetterman’s recent hospitalization and diagnosis with depression have raised concerns about his ability to effectively serve in the United States Senate.
In a recent interview with Pittsburgh CBS affiliate KDKA, Fetterman attributed his depression to the “brutality” of his 2022 Senate campaign. He claimed that the campaign was one of the most vicious in recent history and that it took a toll on his mental health.
Fetterman’s health issues became a major concern during the campaign after he suffered a stroke in May 2022. The senator’s stroke was thrust into the spotlight after an NBC News report revealed that he needed a giant computer screen with closed captions to understand what the reporter was saying. During his lone debate with opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz, Fetterman reportedly struggled to find words and gave several incoherent and incomplete answers to questions.
Despite his health issues, Fetterman remains committed to serving as a United States senator. He told KDKA that he is mentally and physically fit to serve and is taking things one day at a time. However, concerns about his ability to effectively serve in the Senate persist.
He was released from Walter Reed Medical Center on March 31. The senator returned home to Pennsylvania after being discharged, and returned to work when the Senate returned from recess on April 17.
As a result of the “brutality” of his 2022 Senate campaign, he blames the Republican Party for his mental health problems. We all know the real truth because we the people aren’t stupid. Let us say what the legacy media will never admit, John Fetterman is not mentally fit to represent a colony of ants let alone a state full of people. Despite what they say, the truth is right in front of our faces every time he opens his mouth.
