Amidst the growing controversy surrounding Joe Biden and his family’s alleged involvement in a “criminal scheme,” South Carolina congresswoman Nancy Mace has called on FBI Director Christopher Wray to “do his job.”
In the wake of the House Oversight Committee’s revelations, Mace has also pressed the Department of Justice to launch an investigation immediately, insisting that the Biden family’s alleged involvement with other countries “must be investigated to the fullest extent of the law.”
In a display of her commitment to justice, Mace accused the FBI of failing to take appropriate action in response to an alleged document that the agency claimed was unverified.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) presented evidence on Wednesday that “the Biden family, their business associates, and their companies received over $10 million” from companies belonging to foreign nationals.
In Comer’s memo, the names of nine Biden family members were listed that he believes are implicated in the various payments. The memo names Hunter Biden, James Biden, James Biden’s wife Sara, Beau Biden’s widow and Hunter Biden’s ex-girlfriend, Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, Hunter Biden’s wife, Melissa Cohen, and three children of Joe Biden or of James Biden. Per Comer’s memo, all those people received payments from foreign entities.
Despite the mounting evidence against them, the Biden family has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. However, Mace, a staunch conservative, has made it clear that she will not back down until the truth is uncovered. She is calling on the FBI and the Department of Justice to take swift and decisive action, saying that it is their duty to “prosecute any and all crimes, whether they be committed by the powerful or the powerless.”
In recent days, these calls for justice have only grown louder, as more evidence emerges implicating the Biden family in potentially criminal activities.
