**Impossible to ignore, a wild crash in south Georgia resembled a scene out of the iconic “Dukes of Hazzard” TV show. Bodycam footage reveals a vehicle dramatically soaring through the air and landing on a busy highway. The shocking accident left two people severely injured.**

Stunned officers from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office found themselves witnessing what could only be described as a real-life “Dukes of Hazzard” situation. On May 24, deputies responded to a crash on Highway 84. What they didn’t expect was to see a car literally fly off a tow truck ramp and smash into another vehicle.

The scene, captured on bodycam, begins with deputies near a flipped-over car on one side of Highway 84. As one officer approached the wreck, a speeding car appeared on the opposite side of the highway, heading directly toward a parked tow truck.

In an astounding moment, the speeding car used the tow truck’s lowered ramp as a launch pad, flying through the air and crashing on the road. Debris from the now-shattered vehicle littered the highway.

Not stopping there, the flying car struck another vehicle in the right lane, causing it to tumble forward. Against all odds, the speeding car came to an upright position despite sustaining extensive damage.

A deputy sprinted toward the wreck, calling for emergency medical assistance. According to WSB-TV, a police report indicated that the car “vaulted” approximately 120 feet over the tow truck upon launching from the ramp.

Following the collision with the other vehicle, the out-of-control car tumbled another 23 feet. The driver, a 21-year-old woman from Tallahassee, was left with severe injuries that now prevent her from speaking. A Lowndes County Sheriff’s Deputy was also taken to a local hospital after being hit by debris.

At this time, it remains uncertain whether the woman will face charges related to the shocking incident.

**This harrowing “Dukes of Hazzard” moment serves as a cautionary tale of the dangers that unforeseen events can bring and the importance of being prepared. However, one cannot ignore the extreme scale of this incident – the heart-stopping image of a car soaring 120 feet through the air and leaving two severely injured will not be quickly forgotten.**
