The former President maintains a considerable lead, outpacing DeSantis and leaving him trailing by a sizable 34-point margin. This lead prevails across key areas including the economy, immigration, foreign policy, and Medicare/Medicaid. Even the general election projections are favoring Trump over DeSantis, while keeping him neck and neck with President Biden. DeSantis’s shaky campaign launch seems to have had little impact.
