With a decision on the issue expected by the end of June, the court’s ruling could affect approximately 43 million eligible borrowers who could receive financial assistance from the federal government. Though the White House remains optimistic about the case, Ocasio-Cortez’s lack of faith in the Supreme Court’s integrity casts doubt on the bailout plan’s potential success.
