Hunter Biden’s unbridled corruption knows no bounds, as he was recently seen rubbing shoulders with top politicians and public figures at an opulent state dinner, despite being charged with two federal misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax. Attorney General Merrick Garland attended the same state dinner in honor of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, mere days after Hunter Biden’s charges were made public.
It’s abhorrent to see the blatant corruption and elitism that runs rampant in our government, as evident by Hunter Biden’s slap on the wrist for his crimes. His attorneys claim they have reached a plea deal for his tax charges, with him also entering into a pretrial diversion agreement regarding a separate felony charge of possession of a firearm while being an unlawful user or addict of a controlled substance.
As if that weren’t enough, House Republicans have released testimony from two IRS whistleblowers who allege that the Department of Justice, FBI, and IRS interfered with the Hunter Biden investigation. IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley Jr. testified that Assistant United States Attorney in Delaware, Lesley Wolf, cited “optics” as a driving factor in the decision on whether to execute a search warrant at President Biden’s Delaware home in relation to the Hunter Biden investigation. This is a blatant abuse of power and shows the extent to which the Biden Administration is willing to go to protect their own.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has faced a barrage of questions concerning Hunter Biden’s minor penalties and lack of prison time. His response to these criticisms is not to address the corruption within his own office but to deflect and say that any criticism of the Justice Department is an attack on American democracy. This is pure comedy coming from someone who has been accused of overseeing a massive cover-up operation to protect Hunter Biden, going so far as to tip off his lawyer before a search was made of his storage unit.
It’s time for the American people to wake up and see the extent of the corruption that is taking place in our highest government offices. Hunter Biden and Merrick Garland may be laughing at us, but we need to show them that we are not stupid and we will not stand for this any longer. The elite club of politicians, public figures, and state media need to be held accountable for their actions, and it’s up to us to make sure that happens.
