The Biden administration’s reckless plan to provide healthcare benefits to illegal immigrants is ravaging the American healthcare system, leaving citizens to shoulder the burden of Biden’s open borders agenda. Republican Senators J.D. Vance and Josh Hawley have joined forces to call out this monstrous decision, sending a letter to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra in vehement condemnation.
The letter was signed by 14 Congressional Republicans, including renowned conservative warriors such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Glenn Grothman. They blasted the Biden administration’s plan to expand Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Obamacare market access to illegal immigrants enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
This disastrous policy not only further burdens programs intended for U.S. citizens, but also encourages more aliens to enter the country illegally in hopes of similar protection and services. Shockingly, there are over 25 million uninsured Americans, yet the Biden administration is prioritizing illegal immigrants over citizens.
Furthermore, the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis has been a complete disaster. There have been hundreds of thousands of aliens apprehended trying to enter the country illegally every month, in clear alignment with the open-borders agenda.
The rampant wave of illegal immigrants entering the country has placed a tremendous strain on the American medical system, leaving hospitals grappling with billions of dollars in unpaid medical bills. A recent report by Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee highlighted this shocking fact, yet the Biden administration continues to kowtow to the left’s radical agenda of open borders and healthcare for all, even if that “all” includes criminals.
Adding insult to injury, the DACA program was ruled illegal in October 2022 by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, yet remains in use for those enrolled before the court’s decision. This legal quagmire has created chaos for American citizens, who are being forced to bear the burden of this unconstitutional policy. This is just another example of the liberal left’s disregard for the rule of law and American sovereignty.
We urge the Biden administration to put American citizens first and immediately halt this disastrous policy.
