Look who’s running to the front of the pack. Biden vs Trump: Round Three is underway, and it wasn’t the champ, Biden, challenging the contender, Trump. Despite the liberal media protests, it was way back in the opposite corner where Trump’s been patiently waiting, setting the stage, and baiting the hook.
ABC News and commentators David Muir and Mary Bruce want you to believe it was President Biden who threw the gauntlet, but turns out, it’s fake news. In truth, it was Trump who issued the challenge months ago, hollering from the sidelines. Observe the media puppetry and listen to Biden’s ringside trash talk. Let’s not forget Trump’s response: “Just tell me when, I’ll be there.”
CBS’s Nancy Cordes too is singing the same tunes, painting Biden as the challenger. Not to be missed here is the blatant indication that Biden is using the debates as a booster shot for his ailing campaign.
NBC shed a cautious light compared the other media houses, coming closest to reality. Correspondent Peter Alexander commented on Biden responding to “weeks of pressure from Mr. Trump for a debate.” Even so, Alexander couldn’t resist dressing up Biden’s surrender as a strategic move.
The hardcore fact stands: Trump stirred the debate waters long ago, and Biden merely swam where the current took him. Yet, ABC and CBS artfully attempted to divert your attention. They painted Biden as the debate hero, conveniently brushing the truth under the carpet.
What we can expect moving forward is ABC potentially moderating this debate with just as skewed a lens. They’ve set a dishonest precedent already. Why should the actual event be different?
As voters and responsible citizens, we must question the credibility of these media houses disseminating distorted information, manipulating public perception, and blatantly disregarding facts. As seasoned viewers, it is in our hands to veto their agenda and seek the truth.
