On Monday, FBI agents raided President Donald Trump’s MAr-a-Lago home in Florida under FBI Director Christopher Wray’s leadership. On Wednesday, Wray answered questions from reporters during a news conference in Omaha, Nebraska.
According to FOX News, Wray pushed back against social media threats made against him and his colleagues after his agency searched Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
Wray’s answer came after a female reporter asked about the raid and brought up Trump’s comments on the FBI possibly “planting” evidence at his home since no witnesses were allowed near the agents. The reporter also asked if Trump supporters are threatening FBI agents after the raid on Mar-a-Lago.
Wray refused to answer the question regarding the raid, but instead called threats against law enforcement “deplorable and dangerous.”
FOX also reports that, on Twitter, Gab, and TRUTH Social, scores of messages have been posted calling for violence.
In the meantime, Trump and several top Republicans have demanded answers about why the search was conducted and what was seized.
And they may just get their answers as Moments ago AG Garland announced they will be unsealing the warrant and then he admitted to signing off on the raid.
For someone who is supposedly “so concerned” about threats against law enforcement officers, Wray sure doesn’t seem to be doing much about the antifa and BLM goons who assaulted law enforcement the entire “summer of love” in 2020. But at least we have a clear picture of the political operatives behind this tyrannical act against the former president.
