Isn’t it amazing how the Democrats gripe all the time about Republicans, calling them a threat to the country and violent and dangerous? Then, when push comes to shove, you end up with a democrat candidate like New York state Senate Christian Amato who was caught doing something terrible to cops at a George Floyd rally.
So what did this newcomer Democrat do, exactly? Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, and this guy was caught red handed on camera carrying a big ole sign that read “ACAB” which is cop-hating liberal code for All Cops Are Bastards, a slogan often used by those who push agendas of violence and hate against cops.
Amato was protesting the Back the Blue rally, which he described as insensitive to George Floyd and his supporters. Maybe even worse, though, is his ridiculous claim that he made to try and cover up his cop-hate.
“The officers deserve our respect. But we need our officers to be culturally cognitive,” Amato told The New York Post, “When there is social unrest, it is not the best moment to hold an event. You have to read the room.”
It’s an interesting claim from the new politician. The people of New York deserve to know exactly how he can claim he respects police officers while also claiming that every single last one of them is a bastard. His excuse for that was that someone passed him a sign and he didn’t even read it!
The picture was revealed by Christian Amato’s Democrat candidate rival, James Gisondi. Gisondi, who posted the image on Twitter and made it go viral, declared, “This was an BLM anarchist Anti police protest of Back the Blue rally held in Morris Park.”
Amato, who formerly served as Deputy Chief of Staff to New York State Senator Alessandra Biaggi, is running to fill her seat in the 36th district. Amato was fired by Biaggi in 2019 for unknown reasons.
It’s always a disappointment and never a surprise when we catch radical leftists behaving inappropriately towards police officers and then backtracking when they get called out for it. Maybe it’s the massive rise in violent crime that’s taken place since they started weaving their way into politics.
