It looks like PETA and the right have a common enemy – Dr. Fauci. This report explains what the animal rights group has finally done that we’re not laughing at.

PETA has got you covered this year for Halloween if you haven’t gotten a costume yet.

The Washington Examiner writes, with a ghoulish Halloween costume complete with a huge syringe and stuffed dog in honor of the “thousands” of animals his agency tested drugs on, PETA bids farewell to retiring COVID czar Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Fauci is the chief medical adviser to the White House and the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Animal testing has been conducted by his agency, including on monkeys and beagles.

PETA states on it’s website, “This year, Halloween revelers tired of dressing as Freddy Krueger, Darth Vader, or other fictional villains can dress as Dr. Anthony Fauci, who never met an animal he wouldn’t experiment on and who recently announced his plans to step down as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This limited-edition costume consists of a mask, a white lab coat , an oversized syringe, and a plush beagle—reminiscent of the dogs recently rescued from laboratory supplier Envigo following a PETA investigation —wearing a collar tag that says, “Good Riddance, Fauci,” in celebration of his retirement.”

The group goes on to state, “PETA hopes Fauci’s departure will make way for a forward-thinking NIAID leader who will implement state-of-the-art, human-relevant research methods that don’t use animals, such as those described in PETA scientists’ groundbreaking Research Modernization Deal.”

The costume retails for $70.99

In July, the Washington Examiner reported that a plan to test allergy medicine on beagles as young as six months old was canceled by Fauci. This came after Iowa GOP Senator Joni Ernst and the animal rights group, White Coat Waste Project, had started a popular hashtag campaign against the testing, called: #BeagleGate.

In a heartwarming ending, about 4,000 beagles were freed from a facility in Virginia that bred dogs to sell to laboratories for animal experimentation.

In August, as noted by The New York Post, those 4,000 dogs arrived at animal shelters across the country and are awaiting for adoption.

You may have heard about the beagle rescue story on your local news channel, but what you may not have heard about it was Dr. Fauci’s role in the entire process. The media props Fauci up to be some type of god, but we, and PETA, see right through that.
