Nancy Pelosi’s husband, multimillionaire Paul Pelosi, was arrested and charged with DUI on May 28. Mr. Pelosi was booked into jail at 04:13 a.m. on Sunday, and released at 7:26 a.m. with a bail set for $5000.
In the ordinary course of being arrested, one has their mugshot taken. That happened to Nancy Pelosi’s husband, but the mugshot was not released until now.
According to Fox host Jesse Watters, the Napa County District Attorney was “forced to release” Pelosi’s mugshot, on the deadline of Fox’s Freedom of Information (FOIA) request, and the D.A. finally complied. “Crooked politicians and political appointees spent more than two weeks trying to keep the [mugshot] from going public,” said Waters, and he wants to know why.
Watters says the reason it took so long to get the mugshot is that they were trying to protect the most powerful woman in California and in America. He explained that the mugshot was sent to all the other media outlets before they sent it to Fox, even though Fox was the only one that requested it. Of course, since the mainstream media would also want to protect Nancy Pelosi, why would they pursue the case against her husband?
The D.A. is still withholding the bodycam video, the dashcam video and the drunk tank video, treating Paul Pelosi differently than they would treat other people arrested and charged with DUI, because he is married to “California royalty,” said Watters.
The American people have a right to know more about Nancy Pelosi’s husband’s arrest for DUI. She was out of town the night he was arrested, so what was an 82 year old man doing out so late? Was he alone? Why are they trying so hard to withhold information? The good news is, Fox is not going to give up.
Watters says “you can never underestimate liberal privilege.” When a liberal does something bad, we only hear about it for a day, on the mainstream media that is. For example, he points out, the President of the United States, Joe Biden, hasn’t said one word about the assassination attempt on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The reason, Watters said, is that the would-be assassin is a Democrat.
Watters makes an excellent point about liberal privilege. Liberals, like Nancy Pelosi’s husband, get to have their mugshots covered up. And more, if they try hard enough. But Fox intends to stay on this story, to get to the truth. Are you thankful for conservative news outlets?
