Joe Biden was seen strolling on Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, wearing a blue baseball cap and a Navy polo shirt on Saturday afternoon – in pictures obtained by Fox News.
The beach trip was meant to celebrate Jill Biden’s birthday, which happened Friday.
The snap also marks Biden’s record breaking strides in taking the most vacations of any president in history. He is on track to break the record and take more vacation days than Donald Trump.
News of Biden visiting the beach comes amongst reports that the United States has some of the highest gas prices in U.S. history. In a piece by Entrepreneur four weeks ago, it was found that 28 states have hit record average gas prices. Meanwhile, the total national average has broken an all time record. One location even reported prices close to $10 a gallon.
Biden was forced into hiding in a fire station after a mysterious aircraft veered towards his home while in Delaware.
“Shortly before 1 p.m. today a privately owned aircraft entered the restricted airspace over Rehoboth Delaware after entering a secured area. The aircraft was immediately escorted out of the restricted airspace. Preliminary investigation reveals the pilot was not on the proper radio channel, was not following the NOTAMS (Notice to Airmen) that had been filed and was not following published flight guidance. The United States Secret Service will be interviewing the pilot,” said Anthony Guglielmi, the Chief of Communications for the United States Secret Service.

“Every time I get a chance, I go home to Delaware,” Biden remarked back in February. “You think I’m joking. I’m not.”
Since taking office on Jan 20, 2021, Biden has already spent 188 full or partial days vacationing outside of the White House. All of his vacations so far have been to his two Delaware properties, Camp David or Nantucket island in Massachusetts.

This means that the president has spent a third of his 500 days in office on vacation and is now on track to hit 550 total vacation days by the end of his first term in the White House.
The president is now on track to break the all time record for most vacations during his term. For comparison, former President George W. Bush took 1,020 vacation days during his eight years and often spent time on his ranch in Texas.
