You’re not going to believe this but Stacey Abrams, who is running for governor in Georgia, says she now wants to support the police. She’s been caught leading a group that supported defunding the police. This is just another example of her lack of character and willingness to say anything to get elected. SHAME!
Georgia governor candidate Stacey Abrams will do just about anything to get the vote. She’s been caught in yet another lie by her opponent Brian Kemp. The Queen of Pandering – Stacey Abrams is running around telling people that she has never supported the defend the police movement, but we all know the truth.
Fox News writes. Abrams, who is running for Georgia governor again, has tried to distance herself from the hardline rhetoric of the Defund The Police movement in the past. However, according to state filings, she remains a board member and governing person at the Seattle-based Marguerite Casey Foundation.
which tweeted Defund The Police as recently as March of this year,
and Abolish The Police as recently as February. Founded in 2001, the Marguerite Casey Foundation is named after UPS founder Jim Casey’s sister Marguerite Casey. Abrams has received at least $52,500 in income from the far-left foundation, according to her financial disclosures. The foundation describes itself as a private, independent foundation dedicated to helping low-income families strengthen their voices and mobilize their communities.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is not letting Stacey Abrams get away with her lies. He dropped some truth bombs recently.
Here is his video reply.
Another in Abrams’s own words
Washington Freebeacon reports. A press release from Abrams in April 2021 stated that she was “honored” to be a co-chairwoman of the Black Voices for Black Justice Fund, which supports “Black activists on the ground who understand the impact of racism.” There have been thousands of dollars awarded to activists who support abolishing the police through the fund, which is part funded by Mark Zuckerberg’s foundation.
Abrams is known to have an issue with the truth. When she lost to Brian Kemp in 2018, what she is most known for, she complained that he cheated. Her fellow Democrats, many of whom have called former president Donald Trump’s election claims an existential threat to democracy, have not criticized her claims. She is now lying about her involvement with defunding the police movement. Good thing the internet is forever.
