Electric vehicles are getting more and more common and automakers are all rushing to get a piece of the pie. This transition will require a major transition in strategy and Ford has unveiled their latest plan. Employees of Ford are NOT going to like it
If you work for Ford you may not like their most recent announcement.
It has been reported that Ford Motor Company plans to lay off approximately 3,000 workers as part of its transition to electric vehicles, according to Breitbart.
In an internal email, the company said it would begin notifying affected salaried and agency workers within the next few days, according to the newspaper.
“The workforce reduction mostly targets employees in the U.S., Canada and India. About 2,000 of the targeted cuts will be salaried jobs at the Dearborn, Mich., automaker. The remaining 1,000 employees are working in contract positions with outside agencies, the company said,”
According to the email, the company was updating technology to comply with Biden’s demands.
Ford recently increased the starting prices of its electric F-150 Lightning truck by over $8,000 because of material costs rising and additional factors.
However, earlier this year President Joe Biden encouraged citizens to buy electric cars to avoid skyrocketing prices at the gas pump while vowing to keep pursuing green energy.
Ford isn’t the only one with the mind on green energy. Recently Joe Biden’s Secretary of energy made tone deaf comments about solar energy and she got ripped apart for it.
NextNewsNetwork reports, As part of her appearance on Fox News Sunday, Jennifer Granholm explained how the recently-passed Inflation Reduction Act could impact everyday Americans who face record-high inflation, food, gasoline, and energy prices. The act is now billed as a tax, energy, and health care bill.
Biden Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm: “If you are low-income, you can get your home entirely weatherized” to help deal with 40-year high inflation.

Critics quickly pointed out that people who struggled to feed their children or wondered how they would afford gas to get to work were not waiting on a 30%-off sale to switch to solar — they were simply trying their best to get by.
Biden sees Electric vehicles as the future to execute his party’s green new tyranny and Ford seems bending the knee to their will. Meanwhile thousands of Ford employees and their families will soon pay the price.
