President Trump was spotted near DC this weekend.
According to the Washington Examiner, Sunday evening, President Trump made an unannounced and unexpected visit to Washington, D.C.
Wearing golf shoes, he made his second visit to Washington since leaving the White House. A video and photos posted online by freelance reporter Andrew Leyden show Trump arriving at Dulles International Airport in Virginia, just 26 miles from downtown.
UNF News captured Trump’s motorcade arriving at Morristown Municipal Airport in Morristown, NJ and taking off en-route Dulles International Airport.
Trump did not make any mention of the trip on social media, which sparked a firestorm on Twitter.
As noted by the Daily Mail, on the left, people celebrated speculating that Trump was being arrested or “turning himself in.”
‘It looks like he was arrested but without the cuffs. Where did he spend the night?’ former federal prosecutor Richard Signorelli wrote on Twitter Monday morning. ‘I can’t think of another better explanation other than perhaps a semi-medical emergency. Time will very soon tell,” he added.
Another user tweeted, “Is he handcuffed? Did he get into the back of a police car? That’s when you know he’s finally getting what he deserves.” Someone replied to this message by tweeting, “Looks like it to me, but I’m afraid to get my hopes up!”
Meanwhile, on the right, many speculated that Trump was just simply heading to his golf course located in northern Virginia.
