WATCH: Joe Biden Reveals His Puerto Rican Heritage and What It Means to Him

Now that the 2022 election is getting closer, and democrats are losing ground with the latino community President Joe Biden has come out of hiding and revealed his Puerto Rican heritage. Who knew the man who battled Corn Pop for supremacy at that Delaware pool also had ties to the island, but no one could confirm them until Biden’s official announcement.

In a recent trip to Puerto Rico to tour hurricane damage, Biden declared with pride, “I was sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community at home politically,” So there you have it – Joe Biden is officially a Puerto Rican! At least during election season that is.

On Twitter, Jack Posobiec pointed out, “Joe Biden just seriously tried to go to Puerto Rico and tell them he’s Puerto Rican too”

Despite the inability to verify Biden’s time spent in Delaware’s Puerto Rican community, many pointed out its statistical improbability.

As noted by the New York Post, approximately 0.39 percent of Delaware’s population is Puerto Rican, according to census data two years before Biden was elected to the US Senate in 1972.

In 1980, that number doubled, with the majority residing in Wilmington, a port city.

Until Monday, Biden had never mentioned any ties to the Puerto Rican community in Delaware, much less having been “raised” in it.
