Apparently movie budgets nowadays are absolutely insane, given the choice for where a scene will be filmed for an upcoming Tom Cruise movie. It is possible that the choice of a location is cheaper than the hundreds of film special effects people it would take to get it just right.
Washington Examiner reports. Tom Cruise is pursuing out-of-this-world cinematic success that would eclipse what he experienced with Top Gun: Maverick as he seeks to film his next movie in outer space.
Universal Filmed Entertainment Group Chairwoman Donna Langley told the BBC that it is the studio’s mission to make Cruise “the first civilian to do a spacewalk outside of the space station.”
This news comes after Tom Cruise’s Massive Success with a recent blockbuster.
Next News network reported. According to Hollywood In Toto’s Christian Toto, the sequel even outdoes the original. Toto says of the movie, “[t]he ageless star is in full control of his film destiny, and he clearly helped “Maverick” avoid most, if not all, of the culture war booby traps. No hand wringing over military might or extended emasculation of its rugged hero, for starters. No lectures on America’s imperfect past or gender inequality. And, suffice to say, Top Gun: Maverick isn’t woke in the slightest. It is, though, a testament to American excellence and the ability to achieve a goal no matter the odds.”
Another person described the movie this way, in a Tweet: “Top Gun: Maverick has an insanely good final act – deservedly reaches god-tier sequel status. Cruise’s most human, most emotional & mortal film. Kosinski’s aerial combat sequences are as finely directed as they come. Such a likable ensemble too. Blockbuster of the year.”
Tom Cruise will be the first civilian to do a space walk. If I had a dollar for every time I predicted that, I would have 0 dollars. But it is still pretty amazing.
