Oprah Comes out of Retirement to Stab Dr. Oz in the Back

For months, Fetterman and his aides have been attempting to win Oprah Winfrey’s endorsement. On Thursday, they succeeded.

FOX News reports, Winfrey announced at a virtual get-out-the-vote event that she was supporting the Democrat in Pennsylvania’s Senate race.

Winfrey says, “If I lived in Pennsylvania, I would have already cast my vote for John Fetterman for many reasons,”

Fetterman reacted to the endorsement while appearing on ‘The View’

As noted by POLITICO, Winfrey’s endorsement of Fetterman is a surprise, considering she helped make Fetterman’s Republican opponent, Mehmet Oz, famous. Dr. Oz regularly appeared on Winfrey’s talk show as a guest before he launched his own “The Dr. Oz Show.”

Oz spokeswoman Brittany Yanick reacted to Winfrey’s endorsement of Oz’s opponent, saying, “Doctor Oz loves Oprah and respects the fact that they have different politics. He believes we need more balance and less extremism in Washington.”

It’s a sad day in the world of television when the beloved host Oprah Winfrey chooses to betray a friend in such a public manner. After endorsing Democratic nominee John Fetterman in Pennsylvania’s tight senate race, she has clearly shown her true colors as a backstabber. Not only does she turn her back on her former friend, Dr. Mehmet Oz, but she also falls victim to the manipulation and desperation of the Democratic party. It’s clear that Fetterman is grasping at any opportunity for success- even if it means using Oprah’s fame to further his own agenda. In this important election, don’t fall prey to Winfrey’s betrayal- vote for Dr. Oz and prove that loyalty trumps politics. Make America great again by voting for someone you can trust, not someone who will stab you in the back when you least expect it. Don’t let Oprah win- cast your vote for Dr. Oz.
