As a result of making multiple misleading and debunked claims in recent speeches, even the liberal Washington Post has given President Joe Biden a “bottomless Pinocchio” rating.
Newsmax reports, according to Glenn Kessler, the newspaper’s fact checker, the category was actually created under President Donald Trump’s administration to counter “false or misleading statements repeated so often that they became propaganda.”
According to Kessler, a statement will receive a “bottomless Pinocchio” if it is repeated at least 20 times and receives a three or four Pinocchio rating.
A bottomless Pinocchio was awarded to Biden for repeatedly claiming that he traveled 17,000 miles with Chinese President Xi Jinping, a claim that has never been substantiated.
Last week, he made the comment for the 20th and 21st time in California and New Mexico.
Kessler noted that “there is no evidence Biden traveled that much with Xi … and even if we added up the miles Biden flew to see Xi, it still did not total 17,000 miles.”
In addition, Kessler criticized the president’s claim that “the most common price of gas in America is $3.39 – down from over $5 when I took office.”
On Twitter, Biden repeated the claim, noting that “the most common gas station price is $3.19.”
According to the Energy Information Administration, the average price at the pump when Biden took office was about $2.48. The term “most common” doesn’t equal “average.”
Biden’s propensity for lying has reached new levels in recent months, to the point where even the liberal Washington Post has had to give him a “bottomless Pinocchio” rating. Biden has made multiple misleading and debunked claims in recent speeches, including a claim that he traveled 17,000 miles with Chinese President Xi Jinping and that gas prices were over $5 when he took office. These claims have never been substantiated, and yet Biden has repeated them many, many times. In light of these and other lies, it is clear that Biden is not fit to lead our country. He has shown time and time again that he cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Vote him out in 2024 so we can finally have a president who is honest and trustworthy. America deserves better than Biden!
