One of the most reviled professions, since biblical times, was the Tax Collector. But even Tax collectors see the light. The Apostle Mathew, one of the Twelve Disciples of Christ wrote in Matthew 10:22 “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” And that is what we see nearly everyday, the persecution of Christions in the media. One of the most reviled professions of modern day is being a co-host of ABC’s “The View”. And we can only pray that one day Sunny Hostin and Whoopie Goldberg see the light as well.

If Jesus was in the audience of the View he no doubt would have been just as outraged as when he went into the temple of God, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, after hearing the latest remarks from Sunny Hostin.
Post Millennial reports, during Monday’s episode of The View, Sunny Hostin said “Jesus would be the grand marshal,” before Whoopi Goldberg launched into a condescending attack against Christians.
Goldberg fails to acknowledge that “over there” has replaced “over here.” Parades, social events, and pride content are everywhere. The Christians in one small Texas town who included a Pride group’s float in their Christmas parade, but objected to its sexual content, soon found that objecting to sexual content being shown to children made them “homophobic.” In the end, it will likely not be the sexualized content that will be removed from the Christmas parade, but the Christians.
The parade, organized by Taylor Area Ministerial Alliance (TAMA), was infiltrated by Taylor Pride, a local LGBT activist group. Among the traditional, wholesome family parade went a float with a drag santa and a nearly naked, glitter-bombed man. As Davidson writes, the two men danced and gyrated in front of a float for Saint Mary’s Catholic School, which was full of children.
Afterwards, TAMA stated that all floats must “be consistent with traditional biblical and family values.” They didn’t single out any floats or groups, simply stating that the Christmas parade should be centered around Christian values.
The Taylor City Council responded by creating the “Very Merry Holiday Parade and Celebration” so that Taylor Pride and other LGBT groups could participate in their own parade. Immediately following the traditional parade, that parade takes place the same night.
Jesus, if he were to appear on The View today, would be just as shocked and horrified as he was when he walked into the temple of God and saw the moneychangers tables overturned. The ladies of The View have no regard for decency or propriety, and their latest comments on Christians and sexuality are proof of that. Christians, according to The View, should just endure the sexualized content that is being thrust upon them by the media and culture. They should not make a fuss, they should not object, they should just accept it. But Jesus did not endure the degradation of His Father’s House. He saw it for what it was – an affront to God and an attack on His people – and he reacted accordingly. If Jesus were here today, he would no doubt be just as outraged as when he overturned the tables of the moneychangers, he would not be a grand marshall championing their cause.
