More troubling times are ahead for CNN as they announce the firing of one of their major top executives.

CNN has been embroiled in controversy over the last few years with their obvious political leaning, fake news, and overall bashing of conservatives. Since then, CEO Chris licht has been laying off reporters, figure heads and now he is terminating a top executive in efforts to save the company.

Washington examiner reported. There is a report that CNN’s executive vice president of programming will be the next to leave.

Michael Bass will depart by the end of the year, according to a memo from CEO Chris Licht. “I’m writing to let you know that Michael Bass has made the decision to leave CNN at the end of this year,” the memo said. “As head of domestic programming, Michael helped create a number of new shows and overhaul legacy programs. His full list of accomplishments is too great to acknowledge in a single memo. But on the heels of the midterms, it’s worth noting that he oversaw coverage of elections, town halls and debates.”

In addition to CNN, Bass has worked at NBC and CBS in the past.

In addition, Licht announced recently that there would be layoffs at the network before the end of 2022.

The announcement of Bass’s departure is the latest in a long line of changes at CNN in recent months.

According to trending politics. Recently, the television ratings for October were released. Fox News Channel won out, as could be predicted given the constant reorganization at CNN and the much-mocked MSNBC.

It might be a surprise, or at least more of one, that Fox News Channel didn’t just defeat its leftist rivals. Instead, it crushed them.

In addition to beating CNN and MSNBC individually, Fox also beat both combined.

FOX News Digital reports that no other network cracked the one-million viewer mark during Fox News’ average day of 1.5 million viewers. ESPN finished second with 885,000 average total viewers, followed by MSNBC with 751,000 and CNN with 533,000.

During the primetime hours of 8-11 pm ET, Fox News averaged 2.3 million viewers compared to MSNBC’s 1.2 million and CNN’s 624,000. This was CNN’s smallest primetime audience of the year.

For the seventh consecutive month, “The Five” was the most-watched show on cable news…

3.3 million viewers watched Tucker Carlson Tonight, followed by “Jesse Watters Primetime,” “Hannity,”…

In terms of cable news programming, “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” was MSNBC’s top program. “The Lead with Jake Tapper” finished No. 24 overall on ratings-challenged CNN.

The average number of viewers for Jake Tapper was only 691,000

It is quite awesome to watch the continued spiral of the liberal news networks, which began when Trump started mocking them publicly for their continued false news narratives. Further the lawsuits from conservatives who had their names slandered, or were falsely accused of actions, won major lawsuits against the Organizations. But, maybe with some restructuring they reputation of CNN can come back, and we honestly hope that a fair and balanced news network can emerge from the dumpster fire that is the liberal media outlet CNN.
