Whoopi Goldberg goes off the deep end again but this time it’s with religious rights. Has she not learned her lesson on tackling complex topics?

I’m sure you’ve all heard by now about the latest rant by Whoopi Goldberg. This time she’s taking on religious rights and it’s not gonna end well for her again. Every time she covers a complex issue she always has to make it racial. It’s like she’s getting paid for it or something…

The Daily Wire report, Whoopi Goldberg said on “The View” on Tuesday that her “right to be free from religious beliefs” is more important than others’ rights to practice their faith.

During the segment Goldberg appeared to argue both sides of 303 Creative v. Elenis, the case currently before the Supreme Court. Her argument was that it was discriminatory for the plaintiff – Lorie Smith – not to create a website for a same-sex wedding, but that she would not bake a cake with a swastika on it, since that would be “anti-human.”

In a string of clips Whoopi tries to articulate her point, by claiming the web designer at the center of the religious liberty case SCOTUS is hearing is “pooping on my religious freedom.” She says the Constitution gives us “freedom FROM religion.” And she questions: “whose religious beliefs are we protecting?”

Wow! That was hard to watch. But the bad news is, she dug an even deeper hole for herself.

She then hypothetically brought up a completely different scenario, where she doubled down on her false claim that Christian doctors are okay with gays dying without medical care. She says this is like someone saying, “I don’t want to serve you because you’re black.”

It only gets worse from there because the whole bunch jumps into the conversion and they continue to make history with the awful show.

Keep in mind the reason we are spiraling into whoopies dumb comments is because she’s made dumber ones prior to this. Let’s take a stroll down memory lane.

The Jewish Journal reported in January that Whoopi Goldberg had faced criticism for saying that “the Holocaust was not about race.”

It was reported that a Tennessee school board was to vote to remove the book “Maus” from its 8th grade curriculum. In the book, the Nazis are depicted as cats and the Jews as mice. The board decided to remove the book for its use of inappropriate language and nudity, and would be looking for an alternative.

Which then prompted Whoopie to speak her mind, saying the Holocaust was never about race. Let’s relive that moment that has almost been scrubbed from the entire web.

That’s why we don’t take her and her clan seriously anymore.

Whoopie Goldberg has made a good name for herself as a comedian over the years, but her real talent does not seem to extend into cultural commentary. Every time she makes some statement about conservative values, it is clear that she is in over her head and completely missing the point. Unfortunately, the only reason this situation continues is because conservatives react, thus giving her ratings and attention where neither are deserved. We should look past being surprised by such comments, and instead refuse to give these kinds of statements any further attention. Starting now!

Let’s continue this conversation, in the comments below.
