In Fort Worth, Texas, Sundance Square’s nativity scene has been vandalized and was caught on video. Police are asking for assistance in finding the culprit.

A man was captured on security cameras walking up to the plaza stage at 2 a.m. on Saturday. The man grabbed baby Jesus right out of the manager and then hopped into what appeared to be a Nissan Pathfinder.

The Fort Worth Police shared the video on Twitter, adding, “Not a very WISE MAN to steal from the nativity scene in Sundance Square. On December 17th around 2am, this suspect stole baby Jesus and was seen jumping in a tan or silver Chevy Tahoe, so he probably wasn’t alone in this. If you recognize him, please call 817-392-3956.”

The police later added that the vehicle was a Nissan Pathfinder, not a Chevy Tahoe as originally reported.

According to Fort Worth Police, there is no suspect at this time and that their Central Division unit will be conducting the investigation.

The sick person captured on camera at Fort Worth’s Sundance Square will forever be remembered as the Real-Life Grinch. It’s a Christmas crime so horrid that even God cannot forgive it and has shocked viewers around the world. We can only hope for justice for such a heinous act and peace for the local community during this Christmas season.
