According to a recent Financial Times report, the Dow Jones Media Titans index has plummeted by 40%, dropping from $1.35 trillion to $808 billion in just twelve months It’s clear that Hollywood is under severe pressure caused by what some are calling the ‘toxic woke virus’, crippling the once mighty media empire.
Breitbart notes, Hollywood’s horrible year was caused by a one-two punch of a downturn in the streaming market and consumers cutting the cord in droves. Also, due to President Joe Biden’s (D) disastrous economic policies, households are cutting spending as food and energy costs continue to rise. In 2022, woke companies paid the highest price.

President Biden’s economic policies have taken a toll as well, with households reducing spending due to the costly rise of essential products. It is clear that toxic woke politics do not resonate with audiences or result in success – it is safe to say that Hollywood needs to start producing films without the taint of woke ideology if they want to repair their industry and find the success they are seeking.
