CULTURE WAR: Americans Openly Rejecting Woke Terminology

People have had enough of woke culture. A recent New York Times’ online quiz has revealed that most Americans are not willing to entertain the left’s laundry list of woke language, such as “chestfeeding,” “pregnant people,” and “Latinx”.

Oh how the tables are turning! From everyone being terrified of being “canceled” over what words they say, or don’t say to an overwhelming amount of people openly rejecting woke terminology.

Post Millennial reports, People are unwilling to play along with the left’s language games when it comes to alternatives to offensive words such as “chestfeeding,” “pregnant people,” and “Latinx,” according to a New York Times online quiz.

The quiz, titled “You Can’t Say That! (Or Can You?),” was completed by more than 4,000 Americans before being published in the outlet’s opinion section.

One of the least popular politically correct new terms was “chestfeeding,” a term trans activists have tried to force upon society to appease the vanishingly small number of adult females who reject their birth sex but wish to breastfeed the child they grew in their female reproductive system. Ninety percent of respondents said they would not use the term.

Over 86 percent of respondents said they would use the term “pregnant women.” 66 percent said they would not use the term “birthing parents.”

The Times points out that there has been a push to replace “master bedroom” with “primary bedroom” due to negative “connotations associated with the ‘master of the house’.”

Only 22 percent of respondents claimed to use the term “Latinx.”. Latino and Latina were used by 70 percent of participants.

This year companies who embraced the woke agenda, terminology and hiring practices have suffered greatly, losing hundreds of billions dollars in value.

Breitbart reports. During this past year, Disney’s stock plummeted more than 40 percent due to weak profitability, leading to the firing of Bob Chapek and the return of Bob Iger as CEO.

In two consecutive quarters, Netflix lost subscribers, resulting in layoffs and cost-cutting. Over the past year, the stock has lost more than 50 percent of its value.

Other big losers include Paramount Global, whose stock has fallen more than 40 percent, and Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN’s parent company, has fallen more than 60 percent.

NBC, MSNBC, and Universal’s parent company, Comcast, are down more than 30 percent for the year.

It seems the woke movement has overplayed its hand, with a recent New York Times online quiz revealing that most Americans aren’t willing to waste their time with woke lingo such as “chestfeeding” or “pregnant people”. The aptly-titled “Can’t Say That!” quiz tested the attitudes of over 4,000 people, and it would appear that people have had enough of this insane liberal agenda. It’s clear woke culture is finally on its way out—and frankly, it can’t be soon enough. It’s high time we stop coddling these radical leftists and accept reality: woke culture has failed miserably.
