Medicaid Enrollment is Predicted To Hit a Gut-Wrenching Milestone

No one wants to hear that their country is in trouble, but unfortunately grim facts have been presented. Medicaid enrollment is projected to hit a heartbreaking milestone this year, increasing at an alarming rate and should terrify every hard working American. This statistic almost entirely breaks the American spirit.

As Medicaid enrollment reaches the 100 million mark, nearly one-third of Americans are included in its rolls. This isn’t something to be proud of. It’s indicative of a greater problem: people’s complete lack of self motivation to provide for themselves. Whatever your political leanings, it’s hard not to recognize that these recent data have dire implications for our society and with millions being incentivized to live off hard working taxpayers. It will only create more government programs.

Daily Wire reports, A new report predicts that Medicaid enrollment will reach 100 million soon. In a newly released report, the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) revealed that the milestone is likely to be reached within 75 days.

Hayden Dublois, FGA Director of Data and Analytics, said, “for years, FGA has been warning about the rising number of people on government welfare programs. Now, we’re nearing a grim milestone — nearly one-third of the country will be on Medicaid.”

The FGA made it a point to announce on Twitter, “As Americans count down to the New Year, we have our eye on another countdown… 100 million individuals on Medicaid in 75 days. This is unsustainable, and the clock is ticking.”

This rapid growth is primarily due to the federal government’s continued extension of the COVID-19 public health emergency, the non-profit explained in a press release. As long as the emergency remains in effect, states receive extra Medicaid funding.

In addition to the 100 million milestone, millions of people are scheduled to be removed from the program as part of the newly passed spending bill.

The AP reported, As part of the $1.7 trillion spending package leaders unveiled Tuesday, Medicaid coverage could be lost to millions of people who enrolled during COVID-19.

WLTX did an excellent corrage on why.

We now know that Biden signed the spending bill while on vacation this past week.

It is frightening to see so many people dependent on government support, as it allows a larger degree of control and manipulation of the population. This latest spending bill could have been an opportunity to extend the dependence indefinitely, however this administration has instead chosen to put limits on it in an effort not to entrap even more citizens. Clearly that was by the grace of God. The size and scope of this outcome is both massive and unprecedented – and should serve as a warning for what can happen when governments are allowed too much involvement in our lives. The federal government is trying to break the spirit of handwork in America and it seem to have succeeded with almost 100 million people.
