McCarthy Heroically Rejects “Fang Fang” – ” No More Ilhan Omar!”

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy vehemently defended his decision to remove Democratic California Reps. Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee and Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee during a press conference held this Thursday.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was visibly frustrated this past Thursday when a reporter asked him about the decision to remove Eric Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee. McCarthy made it clear that national security was a priority and that allowing someone who may be compromised with national security clearance would have been too risky for everyone.

Daily caller reports, McCarthy grilled a reporter Thursday over a challenge he made over committee appointments.

McCarthy confirmed Monday that Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell of California will be removed from the House Intelligence Committee, while Ilhan Omar of Minnesota will be removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. McCarthy was asked about this decision after he previously said Democrats could appoint their own committee members.

McCarthy said that Swalwell should not serve on any committee due to his alleged relationship with Chinese spy Christine Fang, also known as “Fang Fang.”

Notice how they cut him off mid speech? All so they can protect their web of lies.

Earlier this year McCarthy floated the idea that the Democrat reps needed to be removed from the committees due to national security concerns.

When McCarthy told the Daily Caller in February that if he is elected Speaker, he will strip Omar of her Foreign Affairs Committee seat and Swalwell and Schiff from their Intelligence Committee seats. McCarthy told The Associated Press (AP) that he would move forward with that decision, stating that Swalwell and Schiff should not be on the committee.

Swalwell’s reported relationship with a Chinese spy and Schiff’s defense of the Steele dossier have been cited by McCarthy as reasons for their removal. McCarthy has said Omar should be removed from Foreign Affairs because of her anti-Semitism.

At Thursday’s press conference, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy heatedly defended his decision to remove two Democrats from the House Intelligence Committee and another from the Foreign Affairs Committee. He was particularly incensed that national security had been compromised due to their inability to obtain a security clearance in both the private and public sector. Fuming with indignation, McCarthy asked why the press would repeatedly inquire about false statements made by a Republican while providing Rep. Swalwell a free pass. The Speaker’s frustration with this line of questioning could be felt as he railed against it. But if national security concerns was the only thing stopping Democrats from taking their posts on key committees such as Foreign Affairs, then alacrity should be taken to surmount them, especially during an era of potential inflation, international war, and failed Joe Biden policies.
