Rarely has a democrat candidate faced as much flak within his own party as this man. While other candidates have taken extreme, radical stances on popular issues, this candidate has kept his messaging moderate and but against the cults grain—which seems to be a disqualifying factor in today’s political climate. His lack of extremity may be what hurts him most in the eyes of his democratic peers.
Geoffrey Young put forward a bold and controversial idea that has turned the political landscape on its ear. He believes that President Joe Biden should be dragged out of office “immediately” due to the war crimes committed by his administration. It’s an extreme move, which Democrats tend to love but just ever so slightly tends to be too far right for the left’s taste. His strategy is just a bit unconventional for most democrats and their party seems to want absolutely nothing to do with. Especially if he, as an outsider, is going to go after their very own golden boy.
Summit News reports, a progressive Democrat running for governor in Kentucky has proposed that President Joe Biden be removed from office “immediately” over his administration’s war crimes.
The candidate took to Twitter.
I think Joe Biden (D-War Criminal) should be impeached immediately for war crimes in Ukraine, Yemen, Syria, Iraq etc. Also for continuing the illegal proxy war against Russia in Ukraine. All US presidents since 1945 = WAR CRIMINALS (including Trump).
Young, 66, describes himself as a Peace Democrat, and has savagely criticized both parties for sending US taxpayer money to Kiev, and slammed NATO and the US for losing the Ukraine conflict.
His candidacy for governor and challenge of incumbent Democrat Andy Beshear in the governor’s race has been largely ignored by mainstream media, which has dubbed him the “perennial candidate” or failed to mention him at all, with individual outlets smearing him over his “controversial” stance on the Ukraine conflict.
Kentucky’s gubernatorial primary will be held on May 16, and the actual election will take place on November 7.
In the November midterm elections, Young ran as a Democratic Party candidate for a seat in the House of Representatives, but he lost to incumbent Republican Andy Barr. Additionally, he ran in the Democratic primaries in gubernatorial elections in 2019 and 2015, and for a House seat in 2018 and 2014.
As a candidate for the House in 2022, Young focused on three issues – cutting the Pentagon’s budget by 60%; abolishing the Central Intelligence Agency, which he blamed for leading us into needless wars; and reducing the influence of big money in politics by publicly funding every election.
The left must be very particular in order to remain cohesive and successful in their goals, so it appears that they are not willing to take any chances on someone who identifies as a Democrat but does not align with many of their radical agendas. They know if they add someone like Kristen Seema who does not always agree with popular Democratic views, it could prove risky and turn out to be a major liability for them. This stands as a testament to the cult they’ve become, while upholding and protecting their image of unity above all. It seems as though this candidate was deemed too conventional for them, proving even further that the left knows exactly what they are doing in order to fulfill their evil agenda.
