Jerry Nadler, former Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, recently attempted to shut down a patriot’s request to say The Pledge of Allegiance- Matt Gaetz. The contentious dispute between Jerry Nadler and Congressman Matt Gaetz laid bare Jerry Nadler’s true colors- he hates America.
After Jerry Nadler denied the request, Gaetz made it known that the Democratic party would not succeed in stifling patriotism. He said, “Standing for the American flag isn’t controversial. Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance isn’t a waste of time!” Congressman Gaetz put up an incredible stand for patriotism under immense pressure which has sparked a controversy and left everyone with only one question-will Jerry Nadler shut down Patriotism?
Congressman Johnson from Louisiana then took the opportunity to point out that Nadler doesn’t even show up to say the pledge of Allegiance when the House does it each morning.
At that moment Congressman Johnson, the same congressman Johnson who thinks Guam would flip over with too many people pivoted to January 6th.
With the floor given back to Nadler he defended not showing up on the floor for the pledge.
Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee ridiculed Gaetz’s request in 2021 that the committee recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of hearings.
Congressman Matt Gaetz’s patriotic actions taken amidst an immensely hostile situation have left Jerry Nadler with egg on his face. By refusing to allow the Pledge of Allegiance, Jerry Nadler has made it undeniably clear what he stands for- and it is far from the values this nation proudly stands for. His decision to shut down Congressman Gaetz’s request speaks volumes about Jerry Nadler’s character and motives, rendering him completely unfit to serve this nation. The sheer hypocrisy that Jerry Nadler displayed in silencing a call for patriotism is a disgrace to his office and reveals what an embarrassment Jerry Nadler really is.
