CNN’s Chris Wallace Sees Biggest Drop in Ratings History!

If you haven’t heard the phrase, “go woke go broke” yet, mark my words: you will soon. The phrase is making its way around the news and internet faster than a wildfire because it perfectly encapsulates what happens when people or companies fail to recognize common sense and logic. Many people are learning this lesson the hard way; that’s most recently seen with a former Fox News host.

Chris Wallace’s foray into the prime-time CNN slot in January has been met with mixed results, as ratings continue to be a cause for concern. Of the number of viewers that tuned in to Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? During its first month, a small number were within the sought-after 25- to 54-year-old demographic. Although these figures are encouraging for democrats, they represent an overall dip in viewership since his initial launch, and some may worry whether this downward trend is set to continue. I guess now is the time conservatives can say told ya so.

The washington examiner reports, in its first month as a prime-time CNN venture, Chris Wallace’s former Fox News anchor saw its lowest ratings ever.

As of January, CNN’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? Only 365,000 viewers tuned in on average. Nielsen data shows that only 48,000 of them were in the coveted 25- to 54-year-old demographic.

During Sunday’s show, the show averaged 323,000 viewers and 38,000 in the 25-54 demographic.

Let’s first take a look at his show to see if we can answer his question of ‘”who’s talking”

After CNN announced the end of CNN+, the program began in the spring of 2022. The show was renewed for a second season last month.

It’s safe to say that Chris Wallace may be talking but nobody is watching because it’s CNN. Compared to Fox shows with the same demographic and theme, the ratings may be very different.

In contrast, Fox News’ Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy averaged more than 1 million viewers in January, with more than twice as many viewers in key demographics.

In 2021, he announced his departure from Fox News Sunday. Since then, Shannon Bream has succeeded him.

Although it may be tempting for someone like Wallace to choose a new side in politics and jump on the “woke” bandwagon, it’s important to remember that there is always a cost associated with doing so. The woke movement is no doubt popular among those with liberal views, but it has also caused many others – including some of their own – to be ostracized just for having different opinions. So it’s no surprise when news broke that Chris Wallace was crashing and burning at CNN. That was a give-in because CNN was already crashing even before Wallace left Fox.
