Numerous Republican Representatives grilled former Twitter Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde, former Twitter Deputy General Counsel James Baker, and former Twitter Global Head of Trust & Safety Yoel Roth shook with fear during the hearing.
After pulling out a massive poster containing Roth’s tweet that Trump and his supporters are “actual Nazis,” James Comer, the Republican in charge of oversight, made Former Twitter Head of Trust and Safety Yoel Roth PANIC.
Then, Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert called out the former Twitter executives over censorship and put them on notice asking point blank, ‘Did You Shadow-Ban My Account?’
Congresswoman Boebert then shared receipts on Twitter shortly after this explosive moment at the hearing.
She tweeted, “I received this document from Twitter staff last night.It shows that Twitter 1.0 executives shadow banned me as a sitting Member of Congress. If they did that to me, imagine the millions of Americans that will never know they were silenced by these woke execs.”
Meanwhile, during the hearing, Congressman Clay Higgins warned the Twitter executives they might be arrested for election interference, and boy he didn’t hold back.
