Retired surgeon and former presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson is one such individual, and his latest push forward aims to educate American minds in preparation of the 2024 elections. With only two years before the President will be chosen anew, Dr. Carson’s ambitious plan has already been put into motion.
As the 2024 presidential election draws closer, Dr. Ben Carson has found a way to help Americans prepare and equip them to learn the functions of the executive branch. Through his new training program, anyone with an interest in public service can gain knowledge and insight of the processes and laws governing agencies. This will not only increase their understanding of public service but give them a better opportunity at being successful in it themselves.
The Daily Caller reports, as part of his preparations for the 2024 presidential election, former presidential candidate and Trump official Dr. Ben Carson offered a training program aimed at providing professionals with an understanding of executive branch functions.
In the online course, he outlines the essential functions, processes, and laws governing agencies to make it easier for an individual to navigate public service and succeed. It is sponsored by his think tank, the American Cornerstone Institute (ACI).
Carson, the former housing and urban development secretary in the Trump administration, launched the program to prepare private citizens to defend American “interests.”
Ben Carson attended CPAC and spoke of the importance of the republic given to us by our founding fathers that we are in the bring of losing.
Carson, the founder and chairman of ACI, told the Daily Caller that, “This program is so important because it shines a light on the unique barriers that political appointees often face in their work, how to address those barriers, and how to thus cultivate meaningful change and success in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of serving in the Executive Branch. My staff and I have been there before, we have the experience and the insight to share in order to better prepare those who haven’t.”
This free program aims to educate college students, congressional staffers, and professionals about the executive branch.
Teachers for the self-certification training course include Carson, Governor of Arkansas Sarah Huckabee Sanders, former Director of the National Economic Council Larry Kudlow, former counselor to Donald Trump Kellyanne Conway, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and former special assistant to Trump Timothy Pataki.
As Americans, we must take initiative and educate ourselves on the workings of our executive branch. Now is an important time to do so, especially since the current administration has been blatantly abusing its power. Ben Carson has presented us with a fantastic chance to become informed and acquire critical knowledge that can protect us from being taken advantage of by those in charge. An informed society is mighty and cannot be easily manipulated because they are aware of what is owed to them and what rights they have.
