Major broadcasting giants, ABC, NBC, and CBS News have shockingly given no coverage to the actions and comments of certain Democrats from the “Squad,” who have shown support for Hamas, especially in the wake of the tragic terror attacks against Israel on October 7, which claimed the lives of over 1,400 Israelis.

A recent study by the Media Research Center reveals a disturbing trend: from October 7 to October 22, these networks’ evening broadcasts didn’t cover even a single statement or move by these vocal anti-Israel Democrats. This glaring omission paints a misleading picture, suggesting that the entire Democratic party stands united behind Israel.

Out of the 525 minutes allocated to discuss the Gaza-Israel situation, not one mention was made of the incendiary comments and actions from the “Squad” members. This group comprises Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), Cori Bush (D-MO), and Summer Lee (D-PA). Their divisive rhetoric includes labeling Israel an “apartheid state”, accusing the nation of “war crimes”, and notably refusing to endorse a resolution condemning Hamas following the terror attack.

In a particularly troubling instance post the October 7 attack, Omar, alongside Bush and Tlaib, publicly called for an end to U.S. military aid to Israel. And when a resolution surfaced on October 11, expressing solidarity with Israel and denouncing Hamas’s brutal aggression, none of the aforementioned seven members lent their signatures. And yet, not a whisper of this appeared on CBS, ABC, or NBC.

Further misinformation spread by these politicians includes accusing Israel of bombing a hospital in Gaza. In reality, a rocket, misfired by Hamas, struck a parking area, not a medical facility. On October 17, Tlaib took to social media, perpetuating the falsehood: “Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians…” Similarly, Omar echoed these claims. Yet, this outright misinformation was glaringly absent from the evening broadcasts on the three major networks.

Tlaib continued to peddle this lie at a rally in support of Hamas at the U.S. Capitol on October 18, accusing some of turning a blind eye to the supposed bombing of a hospital. Unsurprisingly, the Media Research Center found this critical detail missing from the evening news segments of these channels.

One is left to wonder: Why is the mainstream media selectively ignoring these significant stances of the “Squad”? Is there a deliberate agenda to shield these politicians from the scrutiny they rightfully deserve?
