A real life courtroom drama played out recently, for all the world to see. It was between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, after Depp sued Heard for defamation. Heard lost and now one of the jurors is saying why.
One of the seven jurors who heard the case recently spoke with Good Morning America, but he did not reveal his identity, reports Fox News.
The unidentified male juror said that Amber Heard’s dramatic testimony was “unrealistic” and that the jury referred to her tears as “crocodile tears.” “The crying, the facial expressions that she had, the staring at the jury. All of us were very uncomfortable. She would answer one question and she would be crying, and two seconds later she would turn ice-cold…Some of us used the expression ‘crocodile tears.’”
Importantly, this juror said he believed that Johnny Depp did not hit Amber Heard. He also said that the jury was not influenced by social media, something that Heard recently claimed in an interview with Savannah Guthrie. The juror said, “we followed the evidence.”
The juror explained that, in the end, the jury just thought Depp was “more believable, sincere and emotionally stable,” reports Fox News. The revelation that Heard had lied about donating her $7 million divorce settlement to charity was “a fiasco,” the juror said.

This case riveted the nation and the aftermath still is. Amber Heard can’t seem to let it go, appearing for interviews and saying things that at least one juror isn’t backing up. Johnny Depp, in the meantime, hasn’t said much since the trial. Do you think Amber Heard is capable of letting her loss go?
