Driving can be scary at times, especially in the Houston, Texas area where incidents have risen dramatically. Road rage, and guns, abound, and there are a lot of reports of road rage incidents where someone dies. In this case, no one died, but a car with a 2 year old in it was shot at, sot it was still very scary and all caught on video.

A man was driving a Toyota Camry on Interstate 45 with his 2-year-old son in the backseat when he pulled over to the side of the road. Benjamin Greene, 34, who was driving, and Nazly Ortiz, a 40-year-old woman who is not from the United States, also pulled over in their Dodge Ram truck.

Greene got out and allegedly assaulted the man in the car with his 2-year-old. As he drove off, Ortiz fired shots at the car. It was all caught on video by a driver in another vehicle that was not involved in the incident.

Greene has been charged with assault and Ortiz has been charged with aggravated assault, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

A Twitter user provded this update: “Benjamin Greene and Nazly Ortiz, charged in road rage shooting caught on video in north Harris County, appeared before judge that did not set bail. Leaving bail question to another assigned judge. Ortiz charged w/ aggravated assault w/ a deadly weapon.”

“Deputies received conflicting reports about what happened before the shooting. Ortiz and Greene told investigators they had been hit by the Camry. The man said he may have cut the truck off, but didn’t hit it[,]” reports the Houston Chronicle.

The amount of rage and anger in Houston, and many areas of the country, is really high. People beating up and shooting at others for the smallest slight. At least Ortiz and Greene didn’t get a bond! They would have in California for sure. Why is everyone so angry?
