It’s no secret that the Democratic Party is in shambles right now. With the loss of Hillary Clinton and the rise of Donald Trump, they’re grabbing for any hope they can get. But is Biden really their best candidate for the next Presidential election? Let’s take a look at Chuck Schumer’s reaction about a Biden 2024 reelection and see what it means:
According to FOX News, Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., dodged a question about whether President Biden should run for president in 2024.
In a radio interview on Thursday, Schumer said Democrats should focus on the upcoming 2022 midterm elections instead of the 2024 election. Dems need to “focus on the 2022 elections” and put Biden’s future in 2024 to rest, for now, according to Schumer.
Perhaps Schumer has finally realized that Biden, both mentally and physically, is not up for a second term as President.
For example, while speaking at the White House this week, Biden looked lost while expecting a handshake from Schumer, despite the two having just shaken hands seconds before.
Joe Biden physically cannot handle a second term, and he shouldn’t want to continue embarrassing himself in front of the world with his constant gaffes and mishaps. With the midterm elections coming up, Democrats have been distancing themselves from Biden due to this reason. Maybe he should take the hint and not run for reelection.
