We all know that California Governor Gavin Newsom’s approach to handling his state during the pandemic was heavily criticized by those who believe in freedom. Days after finding out his own parents in law donated to his arch nemesis  – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – we now know that the situation goes far beyond monetary donations.

California Governor Gavin Newsom’s own in-laws left California for Florida during the pandemic. This goes to show that even they didn’t want to deal with him and his rules.

According to FOX News, Newsom’s wife Jennifer Siebel’s parents, Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. and Judith A. Siebel, became Florida residents in 2020 after purchasing a $3.3 million Naples home in March of that year. According to online records, the Siebels remain the owners of their Ross, California, home as well.

In June 2020, Newsom’s in-laws became registered voters in Florida. Judith Siebel has no political affiliation, while Kenneth Siebel is a registered Republican.

This all came at the time as Gavin Newsom enacted some of the country’s strictest pandemic lockdowns. Meanwhile, Florida stayed open and thrived.

The revelation comes just days after we reported that the Siebel Family Revocable Trust made a $5,000 contribution on April 6, 2022. That trust is run by no other than Kenneth and Judith Siebel.

Gavin Newsom is never going to live this one down. Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to be super awkward this year for him and his family!
