Across the news world ratings are falling for the liberal networks, and the conservative networks viewership is through the roof. But more than that Americans just want the news. We want it straight out, and honest. Apparently Medica CEO’s are finally getting the message.
Washington Examiner reports. After just two years, CNBC is pulling the plug on Shepard Smith’s evening show, The News with Shepard Smith.
The move is being done to “refocus on business and market coverage,” the network said in a statement.
CNBC employees were notified of the news via an e-mail on Thursday. According to a source familiar with the matter, Smith will leave the network by the end of the month. CNBC will replace Smith’s primetime show with markets coverage until a new live show focusing on business news launches in 2023.
CNBC President KC Sullivan said in an internal email to CNBC employees, “After spending time with many of you and closely reviewing the various aspects of our business, I believe we must prioritize and focus on our core strengths of business news and personal finance, As a result of this strategic alignment to our core business, we will need to shift some of our priorities and resources and make some difficult decisions.”
Smith’s show will end this month at an unknown time. His team consists of about 20 people. Over the coming weeks, NBC News Group will work to help employees affected by the cancellation find alternative opportunities.
CNBC is not the only network that is firing their top talent, as CNN has been doing just that for months since their new CEO took over.
Town hall reports. There will be another round of layoffs for CNN employees as viewer ratings continue to plummet.
According to an internal memo that was leaked, CNN CEO Chris Licht, the liberal news outlet is facing “noticeable change. … that, by definition, is unsettling. These changes will not be easy because they will affect people, budgets, and projects.”
He insinuated that CNN could no longer afford to continue on its current course, even though he has been leading the far-left network for only six months.
According to Licht, “there is widespread concern over the global economic outlook” and “we must factor that risk into our long-term planning.”
Finally, the liberal media narrative appears to be disintegrating before our very eyes. Ratings for CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and other networks are in the toilet, and Americans are waking up to the 24/7 lies and half-truths. With popcorn in hand, we can watch these corporate talking heads being fired and realize our efforts are paying off. Added to that, the woke agenda failed in this red wave election. Joe Biden failed America, and people are waking up to that fact. The ratings fall proves that the Republican surge is real. Wow. Just wow.
