For years concern has been rising over the CCP’s popular app TikTok as many feared that it was a spyware application used to collect information on billions of people to be used by the Chinese Government.

Washington examiner reports, On Thursday, Oaklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt banned TikTok from state-owned devices.

Governor Sitt released an executive order banning the popular application from devices stating “No executive branch employee or agency of the State of Oklahoma shall download or use the TikTok application or visit the TikTok website on government networks or government-issued devices, including State-issued cellphones, computers, or any other device capable of internet connectivity, and that TikTok shall be blacklisted from State networks and State-managed devices,”

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt joined a list of other Governors to ban the application.

Washington examiner writes. Many critics of TikTok, the popular short-form video service, have long feared that its Chinese parent company ByteDance is sharing user information with the Chinese government.

A number of Republican governors have banned TikTok from state-owned devices since late November, including Maryland, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas, and FBI Director Christopher Wray has expressed concern that the Chinese government manipulates the app’s recommendation algorithm.

Watch.

We hope that the list of states that ban the application continue as the danger from the communist nation just continues to rise. China will stop at nothing to collect as much information as they can on every single user in the application, and use it to spy on the world. This just goes to highlight the growing risk we are facing from the CCP and other bad actors world wide in the fight to steal sensitive information from unsuspecting users. But, additionally the CCP is pushing different content to different nations all in an attempt to “dumb  down” the populations while they push learning content at home, it is a massive manipulation of the people by a Government that wants to control the world.
