A recent CBS News/YouGov poll found that the majority of Americans describe the state of the economy in two words: “struggling” and “uncertain.” This poll also indicates that 70% of U.S. adults say that their salary is not keeping up with inflation, which is due to Biden’s failed economic policies.
Biden’s economic policy, known as Bidenomics, is a disaster that is crushing the American people. Biden may call his policies “rebounding” and “expanding”, but the American people know better. Sixty-one percent of Americans said the word “struggling” described the economy, 56% said “uncertain,” 36% said “unfair,” 27% said “punishing.” Meanwhile, just 15% said it could be described as “rebounding,” and 11% said it could be described as “expanding.”
Bidenomics is nothing but a tax-and-spend agenda that is destroying the middle class. The poll shows that 70% of U.S. adults say that their salary is not keeping up with inflation. This is no surprise as inflation is skyrocketing and is expected to continue to rise due to Biden’s failed economic policies. The majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the way Biden has handled the economy, and he has a measly 34% approval rating on the economy.
Biden’s policies have caused chaos, not growth. According to the CBS News report, only 41% of U.S. adults have even heard about Bidenomics, and of those who have, they associate it with “higher inflation” and “tax increases.” This is because Biden’s economic policy revolves primarily around government spending and raising taxes, which leads to inflation.
Biden’s policies have been disastrous for the American people. The facts are clear, and Americans can’t ignore them. The pain they feel in their wallet is real, and it is especially painful at the “kitchen table” where they are reminded every night that the cost of their food just keeps going up year after year.
Biden and his supporters can pretend that everything is fine, but the data doesn’t lie. Maine, where Biden touted his policies to help manufacturing, lost 0.5 percent of its manufacturing jobs between June 2022 and June 2023. This is proof that Bidenomics is not working, and the American people are struggling.
Biden needs to take responsibility for his failed policies and stop trying to fool the American people. His policies are crushing the middle class and are causing more harm than good. It’s clear that Americans are fed up with Biden and are ready for a change.
