Zuck has led META and Facebook down the path of wokeism, and it clearly has caused them to go broke. Yet following mass layoffs during the company’s crumbling finances, Zuck released an internal video message to all the employees he tossed out of the company.
CNBC reported. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg addressed employees virtually on Wednesday around 1pm ET, hours after the company announced it is laying off 13% of its staff.
A recently laid off employee leaked the video to news outlets.

As Zuckerberg said in a letter early Wednesday morning, Meta is making reductions across every department, but recruiting will be disproportionately affected since fewer people will be hired. Despite a few exceptions, Zuckerberg said the company extended its hiring freeze through the first quarter.
According to Zuckerberg, affected employees will receive 16 weeks of pay plus two additional weeks for each year of service. Meta will cover health insurance for six months.
This move comes after Twitter explodes with growth after firing thousands of woke employees.
Zero hedge reports. A document seen by The Verge shows that Twitter’s daily user growth has hit “all-time highs” during the company’s first full week under Elon Musk.
Twitter’s monetizable daily users (mDAU) have jumped to more than 20%, and the company’s largest market, the US, is growing even faster.
The company has added more than 15 million mDAUs, “crossing the quarter billion mark” since the end of Q2, when it stopped reporting financials as a public company.
It’s no surprise to see Mark Zuckerberg trying to gloss over the consequences of his toxic leadership at Facebook and META. He has led both companies down the path of “wokeism,” pandering to cancel culture and alienating a huge chunk of their customer base as a result. Now, with financials imploding, Zuck is forced to address the 11,000 employees he just laid off in a pathetic attempt at an apology. But this downfall was inevitable. It’s yet another reminder that catering to the whims of the far left will only result in failure. Zuckerberg is just a puppet for big tech, and his warped values continue to harm innocent workers who are now losing their jobs. It’s time for our society to recognize the damage that these one-track-minded Silicon Valley elites are causing and seek alternatives that truly value free speech and individual liberty.
