Elon Musk is dishing out payback with a level of venom rarely seen before. After months of scrutiny from major CNN and NYT journalists, Elon has suspended their Twitter accounts in a fit of revenge. Now they know how it feels to be on the other side of the fence. Quite frankly, I have no sympathy for them at all; there are no tears here! A lesson well learned, don’t mess with the Musk!
In the payback department, CEO Elon Musk is giving no quarter. Recently, a number of journalists were suspended from their accounts for trying to use their Twitter accounts to ‘dox’ him, i.e. expose his personal information and whereabouts. Musk has also been receiving death threats over that Twitter file move, so he was essentially forced to take action to protect his family. And now these very same journalists know how it feels to have an account removed without explanation or warning – vengeance is most definitely a dish best served by Musk. Sorry not sorry!
Musk noted on Twitter, “If anyone posted real-time locations & addresses of NYT reporters, FBI would be investigating, there’d be hearings on Capitol Hill & Biden would give speeches about end of democracy!”
The mainstream media was quick to spin the bans and categorize them as a result of the journalists “critical” coverage of him. However this is not the case as the bans, Musk revealed were due to them promoting his sensitive real-time location data.
CNN reacted to the bans with expected outrage.
When Elon Musk banned several journalists from his own Twitter page, it hit a nerve with the mainstream media. It’s now glaringly obvious that these news outlets weren’t too particularly concerned about the injustice of some people getting blocked – until now that is, now they know what it feels like to get banned. Conservatives have been censored without justification for years and now the press is up in arms because they finally understand how it feels to be denied access to one’s own Twitter account.
CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, who was one of the journalists banned by Musk reacted.
Alisyn Camerota then pivoted to Oliver Darcy, the CNN reporter who spearheaded Alex Jones deplatforming. Who said CNN is going to reevaluate its relationship with Twitter.

The list of people who got temporarily barred for 7 days included Donie O’Sullivan from CNN, Drew Harwell from The Washington Post, Ryan Mac from The New York Times, Aaron Rupar from The Independent and even disgraced reporter Keith Olberman! It now seems that Elon Musk has awoken many people to the injustice of unnecessary censorship.
The bans follow real threats to Elon Musk and his family.
Elon Musk is taking extra steps to protect himself and his family from harm after posting a video of a real stalker to his account. The disturbing video revealed an unknown individual attempting to box in Elon’s toddler son, who he thought was in the car. Understandably, those close to him are concerned for his safety, so he has recently implemented a series of bans that restrict access to both his real-time location. Regardless of how successful these measures will be, it’s clear that Elon cares deeply about the security and privacy of himself and those he loves.
In a twitter pinned to his account he stated, “Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not”
The internet was abuzz when Elon Musk made a move to protect himself and his family from further harm by issuing Twitter bans towards three major news outlets. Despite some media outlets reportedly interpreting the bans as a result of their “critical” coverage of him, it was actually about Musk’s need for extra precaution in protecting his sensitive real-time location data. It’s no wonder he would take such drastic measures after posting a video of an actual stalker! People know that vengeance is most certainly Musk’s specialty, and I have no tears for the reporters who have never cared about the numerous other people who’ve been banned off of Twitter – often without warning or explanation – simply because they were deemed conservative. Sorry not sorry!
