Joe Biden’s Democratic rivals are gaining steam in the latest poll.
The latest poll by Change Research shows that although President Joe Biden holds a commanding lead of 65% of respondents, his Democratic rivals, bestselling author Marianne Williamson and environmental lawyer Robert Kennedy Jr., have both nabbed 11% support, with another 11% unsure. This development is significant due to Biden’s long-held considerable lead over his primary rivals, averaging a 45 percentage point edge over them in the latest Real Clear Politics polling aggregate. Both Williamson and Kennedy have voiced their dissatisfaction over the lack of primary debates as they look for ways to gain traction.
Biden seems to have an edge over his top GOP foes, as well. In hypothetical matchups against former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Biden beats them both, with 47% to 43% and 47% to 44%, respectively.
