The American people should be deeply concerned about the lies and delusions being spouted by Joe Biden on a regular basis. The latest example of this is his ridiculous claim that he was a part of the civil rights movement as a public defender. The truth is, Biden only spent a brief amount of time as a public defender and all he did was defend a cow thief in Delaware.

Despite his lack of involvement in the civil rights movement, Biden continues to claim that he was a leader in the fight for racial justice. The reality is that Biden was friends with segregationists and even gave a eulogy at former KKK Grand Wizard Robert Byrd’s funeral. How can a man with such questionable alliances claim to support the Black community?

During his recent speech at the White House, Biden boasted about his time as a public defender and attempted to align himself with true civil rights leaders. This attempt to rewrite history is disrespectful to the brave men and women who dedicated their lives to the cause of racial justice.

Biden’s speech was full of lies and it is important that the American people do not simply accept his revisionist version of events. The depth of Biden’s work as a public defender has been difficult to uncover, but reports suggest that he only took part in a handful of cases. It is alarming that Biden would attempt to exaggerate his involvement in the civil rights movement in order to win over voters.

It is clear that Biden cannot be trusted to tell the truth, and his behavior during the speech only adds to this perception. At the end of his remarks, Biden even admitted that he needed to leave the podium before he said even more things that were not in his script. This admission should serve as a warning to all Americans. If Biden cannot be trusted to stay on script during a speech, then how can he be trusted to lead our country?

The establishment of the Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley National Monument in Illinois and Mississippi does not excuse Biden’s lies and revisionist history. It is time for the American people to demand honesty and integrity from our leaders. Biden’s attempts to paint himself as a civil rights leader are a slap in the face to those who truly fought for justice and equality. It is time for Biden to take responsibility for his actions and stop rewriting history for his own political gain.
